From Transfer Pricing Specialist to Leader: Growing with TPS Across Borders

These seminars - once reserved for directors in my previous firm - are now regular parts of my professional development.

One of the highlights of my journey was presenting on Country-by-Country Reporting to the Tax Masters class at the University of Melbourne. It was a defining moment - sharpening my ability to engage an audience and communicate complex ideas with clarity. I also authored a thought leadership piece on “Ethics in Transfer Pricing” for the Institute of Chartered Accountants Singapore. It was a rewarding challenge that deepened my expertise and confidence.

What sets TPS apart is its openness to ideas - and its readiness to act on them. Within three months of joining, I proposed hiring more staff as we continued to expand. That idea sparked a bigger vision: establishing a presence in Malaysia. With leadership's support, that seed grew into a fully operational TPS Malaysia office. I was closely involved in the setup - recruitment, registration, office space, and beyond - gaining experience in areas typically handled by HR or operations teams in larger firms.

Today, I continue to grow with TPS, not just as a transfer pricing specialist, but as a leader helping shape our firm’s regional footprint. TPS isn’t just a place to work - it’s a place to make an impact.
